Service Hours
Parents and school personnel form an important partnership in the education of our students. Through volunteerism, parents take an active role within their children's instruction and help reduce the cost of the overall education process.
All Blessed Sacrament School families must participate in this Program. At the beginning of the school year, each family decides how to best fulfill their volunteer time. Some families choose to fulfill all 20 volunteer hours (10 hours for single-parent families) through active service at the school. Other families choose to perform the minimum of four hours volunteer service at the Fall Festival and/or Spring Auction and pay $200 for the remaining hours ($100 for single-parent families).
Volunteer Service Hours may be fulfilled in many different ways. All PTO Board positions and most Chair Positions automatically fulfill the 16 service hour requirement but still require 4 hours at the Fall Festival and/or Spring Auction. TO SUBMIT/LOG YOUR VOLUNTEER HOURS, send an email to bsvolunteers@gmail.com. Provide your name, child’s name and number of hours worked.
