**Don't forget! When
you purchase your uniform items using Lands' End Certificates, Blessed
Sacrament School gets 15 percent of your purchase amount! If you
do not use the certificates, the school only gets 5 percent! Don't
pass up this fundraising opportunity for our school!
Certificates will be
sold in the school office Monday through Friday (8 a.m.-4 p.m.).
You can also send a check by mail anytime during the summer and mark it
"Attn: Lands' End Certificate Order." We will mail the
certificates to you!

DRESS CODE
The dress code provides a standard for
our students that fosters an environment conducive to learning and
respectful behavior. Final decisions regarding the school uniform
rest with the principal/administration.
A student dressed inappropriately will
be required to call parents for a suitable change of clothes. The
decision as to whether a student is dressed inappropriately is the
prerogative of the administration.
Boys - Kindergarten
Gym Uniform or Dress Uniform permitted
Navy polo with logo and khaki chino short or long slacks with logo
Or
Navy gym shorts or navy sweatpants with logo and white super t-shirt (no
logo required on t-shirt) or navy sweatshirt with logo (no hooded
sweatshirt)
Socks: navy blue or white crew sock covering the anklebone
Shoes: Low-top, rubber-soled sneaker in neutral colors (white, black,
navy, gray or combination of these colors) No lights or noise producing
sneakers.

Navy sweatpants with logo, white t-shirt (no logo required on

**Gym uniforms should be worn to school on gym days
only. Sweatpants must be worn during the winter uniform
season (November - April). Kindergarten may opt to wear the seasonal gym
uniform on any day. White turtlenecks are also allowed with all regular
uniforms (no logo required).
Shoes
Low top, rubber soled sneakers in neutral colors (white,
black, navy blue, gray or a combination of these colors) may be worn at
any time. Also acceptable is any solid, neutral colored (black, brown,
navy, gray) lace or buckle oxford, loafer, docksider or laced shoe. No
platforms or boots are allowed. Heels should be no higher than 1 ½
inches. Shoes should have a non-skid sole.
On PE days, all shoes must be rubber-soled and must
close with Velcro or a lace.
Scouting Uniforms
Scouting uniforms may be worn on scout meeting days.
Additional Dress Code Requirements
No tank tops, spaghetti straps, tube tops or "short"
shorts on Dress Down Days.
No Wide legged or sagging pants/shorts on Dress Down Days.
Skirts should be no shorter than 3" from the floor when kneeling.
Waistbands may not be rolled.
No inappropriate slogans or pictures on Tee shirts.
Nice jeans are permitted on Dress Down Days. They may not be patched or
torn.
Tights or leggings without skirts are not permitted on Dress Down Days.
No open-toed shoes allowed.
Make-up and nail polish may not be worn to school.
Girls may wear one set of small-posted earrings in the lobe. Boys may
not wear earrings.
Jewelry is limited to one ring per hand, a wristwatch, and one necklace
with a single
religious pendant.
Boys' hair is to be cut above the ears with no tails.
No colored, dyed or spiked hair.
All shirts are to be tucked in at all times.
No tattoos or faux tattoos.
Hairstyles or hair accessories, which cause distraction, are not
permitted.
Brown, black or navy blue belts must be worn with trousers and walking
shorts unless the elastic waistband is preferred.
A white Land's End turtleneck with or without a logo may be worn with
the dress uniform.
